WeHub is listed on G-Cloud 15 (G15), the Government Commercial Agency's new framework for public sector cloud procurement. NHS organisations, local authorities and central government departments can now buy from WeHub through a pre-approved route, without running a full tender for each purchase.
The biggest change to G-Cloud since 2012
G-Cloud 15 launched on 10/08/2026 and opens for public sector use later this month. It is the first iteration run by the Government Commercial Agency (GCA), the executive agency formed on 01/04/2026 when Crown Commercial Service merged with several Cabinet Office central commercial teams, the first G-Cloud let under the Procurement Act 2023, and the first to operate as an open framework.
The agreement is valued at approximately £14 billion over a four-year term, with an estimated £3 billion of annual public sector cloud spend flowing through it. Around 90% of its suppliers are SMEs.
What it changes for buyers
Three things matter most to anyone buying through it.
One agreement instead of three. G15 consolidates Cloud Compute 2 and Lots 1 to 4 of G-Cloud 14 into a single commercial agreement, so hosting, software and cloud support are procured in one place rather than across separate frameworks.
Call-offs of up to 60 months. Longer than the maximum available under G-Cloud 14, giving buyers longer-term arrangements and a more stable basis for multi-year programmes.
A shorter path from decision to delivery. Buyers who have already scoped what they need can award directly from published service definitions and pricing. Where they want to test more deeply, they can still run a competition at call-off. Either way, the months usually spent running a full tender come out of the front of the programme.
As an open framework, G15 also reopens 18 months after launch and at intervals across its term, so the catalogue does not freeze for years at a time.
What the listing says about WeHub
GCA describes G15 as its most comprehensive supplier evaluation to date, assessing every supplier on quality, technical capability and price before they reach the catalogue. That assessment is the point: a place on the framework is an assurance signal buyers can rely on, not simply a route to market.
The security baseline has risen with it. For the first time, Cyber Essentials is mandatory across every G-Cloud lot, with Cyber Essentials Plus mandatory for the hosting lots. WeHub holds Cyber Essentials Plus, certified on 17/12/2025 by IASME across the whole organisation, which is the higher tier and is verified by an independent hands-on technical audit rather than self-assessment.
Buyers evaluating WeHub through the framework are also working with UK data residency in UK South, per-customer tenant isolation, and a written data processing agreement under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Public sector buyers should not have to choose between moving quickly and buying safely. G-Cloud 15 raises the bar on both, and being listed means a team that already knows what it needs can bring us in through a route their procurement colleagues already trust.

One date to note
G-Cloud 14 expires on 28/10/2026 and every call-off under it must be signed by that date. Any cloud procurement planned for this autumn should be routed through G15.
